Trophy Cases

Best History Props (2007)

James Walke's 'Trophy Cases' show of three-dimensional box sculptures is influenced by formal elements found in religious iconography, museum display cases and tacky paper toile creations. These sculptures offer imaginary awards for things that we may not be so proud of.

Once again, the solo show runs Sep 26-Oct 14.

Come out to the opening reception -- Saturday, September 29th, 7-10pm

Eastern Front gallery is located at 750A Queen Street East (at Grant, one block east of Broadview), in Toronto.
